Smash Bros has been one of the biggest crossovers in gaming history. But the focus on gaming characters with no TV and movie characters might have hurt the game slightly. Now that Smash Bros has finished adding characters.
We have already had Nickelodeon based Smash Bros with all different characters, but now a new rumour suggests we are getting a game made by Warner Bros in a Smash style. Warner Bros has been a dominant developer in the gaming industry with games like Mortal Kombat and Hogwarts Legacy. So knowing that they’re making a massive Smash Bros inspired game, it could be one of the biggest crossover games.
It could truly be the Smash Bros Killer
It could be the Smash killer mostly due to the possibility of how many characters we could see in the game. The possible characters that could join the cast are endless from its many franchises. From Scooby-Doo to DC and Harry Potter to Looney toons. Warner Bros has such a wide range of TV shows and movies that the roster could truly be endless.
Who could be developing the game?
Then there’s the fact that it could be developed by one of the current studios under the Warner Bros roof. This includes Mortal Kombate and Injustice, developed by NetherRealm Studios. If this game is in the works, it’s very likely that NetherRealm Studios would be behind the game. It is suspicious that we haven’t seen an Injustice 3 announcement yet. It could be that NetherRealm could be working on whatever this rumour ends up to be.
