Diamond Mine has not made many friends in NXT 2.0, and has managed to make some deadly enemies. Odyssey Jones has issues with Roderick Strong, while KUSHIDA & Ikeman Jiro want to see The Creed Brothers fall. Tonight they will unite to take on Diamond Mine – who will lack the numbers edge for once.
Jacket Time Gets Some BIG Help Against Diamond Mine
Before this match we’d catch up with LA Knight. He came to NXT to become champion, and so far hasn’t been able to accomplish that. Knight had his chance on the debut of NXT 2.0- but failed. However, now he’s got a new mark in Grayson Waller – with plans to take him down bit by bit.
Jones would dwarf everyone in the ring, including his partners. However, Jiro would start with Strong. Strong shoved Jiro aside and chopped Jones, and Strong would flee for a tag. Julius Creed would try and fail to take Jones down, getting run down with a lariat. KUSHIDA & Jones would work together, before Julius caught Jiro with a big suplex and tagged in Brutus.
Back from the break, The Creed Brothers were making quick tags to keep Jiro controlled. Strong would tag in as Jones would make his way in. Some huge flapjacks and lariats would come from the super heavyweight, but Strong would use his Freaky Roddy Strength to hit an Angle Slam for a two count. Jacket Time would run the distraction, and Jones hit a huge running crossbody for the three.
Grizzled Young Veterans Show Off Stolen Gold, MSK Look For The Shaman
We’d see Grizzled Young Veterans phoning their nan, having stolen the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships to show they’ve made it in the United States. This should help Gibson get more inheritance money, but they need to get the gold back to Toxic Attraction. GYV have been hilarious lately, but would love to see them deliver in the ring.
MSK would be on their step to meet the Shaman. MSK would sneak ‘the supplies’ past security, and sneak a first class upgrade. The Shaman is a tag team master according to Wes Lee – and their journey continued. I really hope it’s Kevin Nash, and we get the NXT 2.0 version of Paparazzi Productions.
Legado Del Fantasma Take Out Xyon Quinn – NEVER Say No To Them
Back at the ring, Andre Chase would make his way down for a match with Xyon Quinn. Quinn has been a breakout star of NXT 2.0, winning over fans of all types with strong matches and stronger dance moves. Chase has his students from Chase University watching on, and will look to show his mental fortitude. Wade Barrett called Quinn a himbo, NXT learning this word AFTER Austin Theory left.
Chase got a takedown before being hit with a big lariat and bigger shoulder tackle. Quinn dodged a running headbutt and got two off a neckbreaker. A chinlock and some elbow strikes shutdown Quinn briefly before he’d take the twisting Samoan Drop. Quinn nailed the Jackhammer, getting the win.
Legado Del Fantasma attacked Quinn, with him taking Wilde & Mendoza before Escobar got him down. LDF is back to full power, and Elektra Lopez would deliver the final message before he was slammed spine first onto the steel. Never say no to Lopez.
Could we be in for Escobar vs. Quinn at Wargames? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
