When you’re the face of WWE, you get chances like being able to show up on The Tonight Show. Jimmy Fallon would sit down with Roman Reigns on the popular late night talk show, having a great conversation with some highlights, as Reigns discussed his personal and professional life.
Roman Reigns Speaks About His Personal Life – Loves Christmas Music
Showing up in a dapper suit, Reigns would kick things off with his love of embarrassing his teenage daughter in a very fatherly fashion, and his love of Christmas music. He would recount a story of cranking All I Want For Christmas to the max on his car’s stereo as he dropped her off at school, which is enough to make any teenage girl feel the heat from her friends – in a harmless way. He believes Christmas music doesn’t have to wait until after Thanksgiving, which is a hill I too will die on.
Moving into a discussion about his skills in the ring. Fallon pulled out a picture of Reigns hitting the Superman Punch on Edge. He’d ask what it must be like to see him coming down with his fist. Reigns assumed it’s muttered no’s and some thoughts and prayers. Also ‘why am I in the ring with this guy?’
Could The Rock Show Up At Survivor Series?
Getting into the important information, Survivor Series is this Sunday. Reigns is confident that he will smash WWE Champion Big E into the mat as they meet in a champion vs. champion match. That will be an interesting one, as The Usos will be cancelled out by a vengeful New Day, as Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods have been beaten down by The Bloodline.
More importantly, 25 years ago at Survivor Series – Rocky Maivia would make his debut. The Rock has since become one of the biggest names in the world of entertainment. Reigns feels he will be showing up for his 25th anniversary. He also made his debut at a Survivor Series alongside Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose, so there’s some parallels to be made for sure. He would fight The Rock, but he doesn’t think The Rock wants to fight him.
These rumors of The Rock showing on this platform? That could have been more done to promote Survivor Series than the last few episodes of RAW did. WWE would be wise to try and keep top names like Reigns, Lynch, Big E & McIntyre in these spots, and allow rumors some airtime. Rumors of legends and big names sell tickets more than announced matches in 2021.
Overall, Reigns shows some killer charm in appearances like this. Seeing him sat talking in a suit like this? It shows why he’s the top dog. Do you like seeing Reigns show up outside of WWE? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
