Prince William and Kate Middleton are unlikely to stay with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their visit to the United States on the grounds that it would have no benefit.
Royal Expert Claims Prince William And Kate Middleton Would Suffer A ‘Lose-Lose Situation’ By Visiting Prince Harry And Meghan Markle
That is according to Royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti. William and Kate are set to travel to the United States next year as part of the environmental work that they have been doing.
The pair will attend the Earthshot Prize, which is an annual event that aims to commemorate those who have made contributions to environmental work by giving them an accolade.
And yet, such a journey is not going to be an easy one. Harry and Meghan’s departure from the Royal family left a bitter taste in the mouth, given that the couple spoke out against the Royals in their controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey.
And any hopes of them repairing the relationship are not going to occur, given that any form of meeting is going to incite a reaction from the media.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Jonathan said: “It’s a sort of lose-lose situation. If they get invited, and they decline, it seems petty and nasty.
“And if they don’t get invited, it seems petty and nasty from the other side…I can’t quite see how this would work.”
Nevertheless, something has to give. They all managed to be in each other’s company following the death of Prince Philip when they reunited for the sake of his funeral.
In addition, they have managed to have some conversations via Zoom in an attempt to bury the hatchet. And given that the pandemic has only made travel a whole lot harder, it makes sense that they all seize the moment to see each other when they get the chance.
Royal expert Stewart Pearce had this to say: “I know that the four are talking with one another, and they’re talking by Zoom [and by] FaceTime.”
Time will tell whether they all end up embracing each other, and if they do not manage to see each other this Christmas, then that could be the time to put their differences aside.
