‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ star Heather Dubrow revealed that she decided to return to the show in order to let everyone know what her family is like following the recent news that her daughter Max came out as bisexual.
Heather Dubrow’s Return Was Based On Her Desire To Show Off Her Bisexual Daughter-‘Wouldn’t It Be Kind Of Cool’
Heather, for her part, initially left the show in 2016 after deciding to walk away following the 11th season. But given that she has a new story to tell, she felt she had no choice but to make a return, especially since the majority of comments towards her daughter have been positive.
During an interview with the Daily Mail, she said: “Max came out as bisexual a couple of years ago..And I thought, wouldn’t it be kind of cool to show what our version of a normal family looks like?
“And maybe we can continue these conversations that we’ve been having in our home.” Heather’s intentions may be pure, but that does not mean that there are no other avenues that she wants to explore on her return.
Heather admitted that she has many memories of the show, but her life has changed dramatically since she was last on it.
Not only did she leave, but the show’s two other stars Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson, also departed. With a largely new cast to contend with, there are bound to be plenty of fireworks in store for the fans.
Heather added: “It was definitely strange coming back to the show without Tamra and Vicki because like five seasons previously, we’re with them, and I have very fond memories of being with them.”
But much like Tamra and Vicki, Heather admitted that she is not on the best of terms with Shannon Beador. The latter has spoken about how she is not in touch with Vicki and Tamra.
And it looks as though Shannon will end up getting into a crossfire with Heather. Her following comments confirmed as much: “I think we both came into this season with the best of intentions, and it very quickly goes off the rails.”
