Tonight looks like it’ll be a fun one with a couple of good matches set up for us, so let’s get to the action!
Seth Rollins welcomed us with a monologue to set up the opening steel cage between Big E and Kevin Owens before going on how he’s going to win at Day 1.
Big E Followed suit, channeling Booker T when he told Owens “You’re gonna feel that, sucka!”
Kevin Owens called Big E a liar for referring to the WWE Championship as his when it’s really Owens’.
Steel Cage Match – Big E vs. Kevin Owens
Owens went for the door right away but Big E caught him. He fought Big E off with some rights and a boot, then went for a door again and Big E caught him again.
Big E caught Owens trying to go over the top and hammered on him between the ropes, and then he caught Owens on the top rope but Owens fought him off then dropped to the mat.

Owens dodged a running spear attempt and Big E hit the cage as we headed to commercial.
Back from the break and Big E caught Owens trying to escape again, but Owens hit a moonsault off the ropes for a near pinfall.
Owens was sent into the cage for at least the sixth time for a pin attempt and still no blood. Kinda takes away from the match. He then caught Big E trying to escape through the door.
Big E caught Owens on the top rope again, and Owens hit a sunset powerbomb for a near pinfall.
Owens locked in a Boston Crab, but Big E crawled toward the door and was on the verge of escaping when Rollins ran up and slammed the door on both of their heads as we headed back to commercial.

Owens fought Big E off the top rope yet again, then hit a frog splash for a pin attempt.
Big E once again caught Owens at the top of the cage and pulled him back in, then hit a Big Ending off the top rope and crawled for the cage door and slipped out.
With the match over, Rollins attacked Big E from behind, then went after Owens once the cage was raised.
Big E intercepted Rollins’ stop with a belly to belly suplex, and hit another Big Ending on Owens.
During the commercial break, Lashley took out all three with spears and slams.

Queen Zelina came out and was a little upset when the fans wouldn’t quiet down for her to talk when she asked/commanded in English and Spanish.
When the match began, Zelina took it to Nikki and hit a double knee for a near pinfall, and Nikki rolled her up a pair of times for her own pin attempts.
Nikki missed a crossbody off the top rope and Zelina hit a Code Red for the win.
Backstage, Ripley was consoling Nikki when an autograph seeker asked for Jerry Lawler’s and Nikki thought it was for her. WWE Raw Results are happy to see the King back.
