Welcome to WWE Smackdown Results!
This should be a fun night as Roman Reigns is back after a week off, and there are a few things he’s going to have to take care of those.
Without further ado, let’s get to the action!
The started by showing Paul Heyman with the Universal Championship in his arms and waiting for Roman Reigns to arrive.
Sasha Banks and Toni Storm vs. Charlotte Flair and Shotzi
Shotzi and Storm squared off to get things started, and their first lockup ended in a draw, and Strom took her down with a side headlock on their next lockup attempt.
Banks came in and Shotzi got loose and tagged in Flair.

Banks took it to Flair with a hurricanrana and a pair of roll up pin attempts before tagging Storm back in.
Storm flipped Flair over for a pin attempt Shotzi broke up, and Shotzi sent Storm to the floor as we headed to commercial.
We returned for Storm and Banks to work over Shotzi, but when Banks took a second to knock Flair off the apron Shotzi dropped her.
Flair came in and threw Banks into the barricade on the floor, then rolled her into the ring for a pin attempt.
After they worked on Strom, Flair hit an exploder that sent Storm to the floor as we headed back to commercial.
The fan finally got what they wanted as Banks and Flair squared off for an extended period and exchanged rights, then pin attempts.
Banks hit a bulldog and Storm blind tagged in. Banks hit Shotzi with a backstabber, and Strom hit a crossbody for a near pinfall.
Storm got her knees up to counter Flair’s moonsault, the rolled Flair up for the win.
This was a good match to start the night off.
The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) vs. Jinder Mahal and Shanky
This “important” match was underway by the time we came back after an entire segment was spent recapping Bobby Lashley on Raw.
The Viking Raider had the upper hand on Mahal, then Shanky came in and dropped Erik with a boot and a sidewalk slam for a pin attempt.

Shanky continued hammering on Erik and dropped him with a clothesline for a near pinfall.
Mahal went to work on Erik by stomping him down, and then hitting a clothesline before working on Erik’s shoulder and neck.
Erik got loose and tagged in Ivar, and he took it to Mahal with a side slam and crossbody.
Ivar and Erik double teamed Shanky and took him down for Ivar to hit a splash off the top rope for the win.
This was a nice change of pace as WWE Smackdown Results expected the Vikings to be fodder for Shanky’s push.
