Jake Paul’s vendetta against Jorge Masvidal continues to heat up, with the YouTuber-turned-boxer offering the UFC fighter a cool five million dollars to step into the boxing ring.
In the most recent episode of Impaulsive on YouTube, Jake Paul replied to Jorge Masvidal’s assertion that he only fights for money or to fight the best names in the game.
Jake Paul Offers Masvidal $5 Million To Box Him: “You work for the UFC, you’re a b*tch”
“Masvidal is like, ‘I only fight the best people or I fight for money, and you’re neither one of those.’ Masvidal, I’ve got an offer for you right now: $5 million guarantee, plus percentage of pay-per-views.
That’s the most you would have ever made in a fight, ever. So now you can’t say, ‘I either fight the best, or I fight for money.’ Let’s make it happen.”
Paul continued, once more dissing UFC president Dana White, and labelling Jorge Masvidal a “b*tch”. ““Daddy Dana just has to let you out of your contract. You work for the UFC. You’re a b*tch, basically.”
Although Jorge Masvidal helped Jake Paul train for his boxing match against Ben Askren, the two fell out in dramatic fashion, and have spent much of the time since trading barbs via social media.
Paul claims that he would handily defeat either Jorge Masvidal or Nate Diaz. That’s not quite as impressive a claim as it once was, with both men clearly at the tail end of their impressive careers.
Paul shows no signs of breaking his habit of beating up retired or semi-retired mixed martial artists in the boxing ring. He also shows no signs of boxing an actual boxer any time soon.
“I think they say they’re about it, and it seems so obvious, like the general public looks at it and is like, ‘Yeah, Masvidal and Nate Diaz would kill Jake Paul. These dumbasses don’t understand that boxing is a different sport than MMA, and that is literally light work.
And it’s so weird how some people develop a brand that’s so likable, like him, where he started street-fighting in the back with Kimbo Slice, like he’s really tough. No you’re not. ‘Gamebred.’ You b*tch.”
Jake Paul recently knocked Tyron Woodley out cold in the boxing ring, bringing his pro boxing record to 5-0 with four knockouts. Jorge Masvidal has not fought since his own knockout loss at welterweight champ Tyron Woodley’s hands earlier this year, and is eyeing a return to competition in 2022.
