WWE Smackdown Results returned for the last half of the Best Moments of 2021, and we’re curious what’s left.

The opening video was of fresh talent that have made an impact such as Omos, Damian Priest, Reggie, Veer, and Xia Li.

It set up Bad Bunny’s WrestleMania win with Damian Priest against The Miz and John Morrison for the number 6 moment.

Moment 5 – Seth Rollins vs. Edge Hell in a Cell Match

We came back to a replay of Edge and Seth Rollins’ promos, including when Rollins made himself at home in Edge’s house before their final confrontation.

A recap of their Hell in the Cell match that closed their feud followed. This was by far the best match in the WWE in 2021.

This was one of the longer clips of the night for good reason as it showed Rollins coming so close to winning before Edge pulled it out in the end.

Moment 4 – Bianca Belair Defeated Sasha Banks at WrestleMania

Our trio returned with Cole telling Lynch that 2021 was the era of Bianca Belair, and after Lynch got a little testy, they switched to Belair and Sasha Banks’ WresleMania Match for the number 4 moment.

This was a great moment as Belair was close to letting her emotions get the better of her at the start, but she pulled it together for a good match as she won the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

    Moment 3 – Becky Lynch’s return

McAfee shared his favorite Michael Cole moment of 2021 and a clip played when John Cena came out to confront Roman Reigns.

To be honest, this sounds more like a Pat McAfee moment, but after the clip played Cole said they both almost lost their minds.

    — WWE (@WWE) January 1, 2022

Moment number 3 was the return of Becky Lynch, and Lynch lost her mind a little at only being e.

Of course, this follows Belair’s big win with Lynch’s 27 second win over her for the Smackdown Women’s Championship at SummerSlam.

Back in the studio, Lynch questioned if putting her at 3 was his fault and McAfee threw him under the bus without a second thought.

Moment 2 – Big E Cashes in on Bobby Lashley

.@WWEBigE cashed in his #MITB contract and it paid off! @fightbobby pic.twitter.com/4YGBmacUNA

A Drew McIntyre package as he began his run to challenge for the WWE Championship.

Cole asked Lynch about the moment when Big E cashed in the MITB contract to win the WWE Championship was number 2.

This was an awesome moment as Big E deserved the title. Good for him. It’s also the first moment of the night that wasn’t at a pay-per-view.

Moment 1 – Brock Lesnar returns

Back to the action, they said how the year was all Roman Reigns, but the number 1 spot belongs to the Beast.

"HERE COMES THE BEAST!!! HERE COMES THE BEAST!!!"

The No. 1 spot goes to @BrockLesnar making his shocking return at #SummerSlam!#SmackDown pic.twitter.com/cj53bplak1

    — WWE (@WWE) January 1, 2022

Brock Lesnar’s return and challenging Roman Reigns was arguably the best moment of the year, and when Lesnar stepped into the ring at SummerSlam the fans went insane.

Becky Lynch pointed out the B and L of her and Lesnar’s name just confused people and that’s how she ended up in the third spot instead of number 1.

A Reigns video package followed to set up his and Lesnar’s match at Day 1 tomorrow.

Michael Cole closed the show by wishing us a great New Years and happy 2022

This was a great set up show to keep their talent from getting ill or risking injury. What do you think of the selections? Let us know in the comments below and thank you for joining WWE Smackdown Results.
