Janelle Brown and Kody Brown’s war of words continued as they were at loggerheads over Covid-19 policy and how the family should take precautions in light of the pandemic when it came to holidays.
Janelle Brown And Kody Brown Argue Over Covid-19 Policy
It is no secret that the polygamous couple are going through a lot within their marriage. And the presence of three other woman Christine, Meri, and Robyn has not helped things since all of their competing views have to be taken into account.
And it all came to a head when Kody clashed with Janelle over how their children should be kept safe. Kody, for his part, was of the view that the children as well as his wives would follow Covid rules to the letter.
Meanwhile, Janelle Brown felt that their eldest children Garrison and Gabriel should be allowed to continue living as normal, as opposed to isolating themselves.
And as expected, that did not go down very well. In an episode of the show, Kody said: “I’m making all the sacrifices and I’m asking everybody else to simply meet that level of sacrifice so that the family can exist.”
In response, Janelle was not having any of it. She felt that Kody’s comments were part of his wider personality in taking control of things. In this way, the views of their sons were ignored which was not viable since they happened to be of an adult age.
And in an act that came out of nowhere, Kody Brown opined that it would be better if his sons moved out. Garrison and Gabriel responded in kind.
They felt that their father had overstepped the mark and were trying to get Janelle on side. As such, they suggested that it would be better for them if they all spent Thanksgiving together without Kody.
And the saga came to an end, as Janelle Brown decided that enough was enough. Thus, she walked out from the show, never to be seen again. So much for the happy holidays, as the only thing that will be keeping Kody Brown company are the Covid-19 guidelines.
