‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into some spoilery goodies as we get ready for some more character building.
On the plus side, there’s going to be some interesting seeds planted when Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) gets ready to dig in for a possible war with Devin Hamilton (Bryton James).

Abby’s been taking some good shots the last few days between Devon announcing he’s pursuing his legal rights for more time with Dominic, and Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) saying he doesn’t think he can be there for Dominic as much as he should be.

So, Abby’s going to call Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) to get some advice on what she can do and what she should do.
Christine will undoubtedly tell her it’s best to try to work this out with Devon so things don’t get worse, but Abby won’t want to hear that
All she can see is betrayal by her friend, and soon her husband for not joining the ranks of enablers that have helped this come about.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect her to dig in her heels and continue fighting, but we’d rather see them try to work something out before their friendship is blown out of the water.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, January 20: Noah makes it clear
Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) has been something of a second thought enigma since he returned to Genoa City, and now that he’s working for his dad we’ll start getting some headway in his storyline.
Before that can happen, he’s going to set the record straight With Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and we think it’ll be about what he expects to accomplish and what kind of oversight he wants.
It shouldn’t be too demanding or difficult as Nick is a pretty relaxed guy, but it could be fun down the road when the reason for Noah leaving London becomes known.
But that’s probably at least a month or so away at the moment. He’ll get settled in and things will be going smooth before anything rough comes up.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, January 20: Tessa proposes to Mariah
There’s a feeling in the air that something special is going on, and we think it’s going to culminate with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) throwing caution to the wind and proposing to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).
This will be a fun and loving scene as that’ll be a joy to watch as we expect Mariah to say yes and the celebration can begin. But we can’t shake the feeling it’s the calm before the storm.
Whether it’s a difficult adoption process, one of them gets sick, or Noah tries to woo Tessa something’s going to happen.
