There is no denying that Kate is one of the most popular members of the Royal family in living memory.
She has successfully managed to navigate the duties that are incumbent upon a Royal, to the point where she has become one of the leading figures alongside Prince William.
And as part of that process, she has had to work on becoming more relatable to the public. This idea was best shown during a recent visit to a church in Burnley that helps those suffering from homelessness and addiction.
In the picture here, we can see Kate holding a baby as she is laughing. Rather than looking at her maternal skills, the talk was more centred around her clothing. She was seen wearing some fashionable tanned boots.
When Kate was asked where she had gotten them from, she stated: “Oh I don’t even know. I should know.”
That did bring out some laughter amongst the people that were in attendance, but on a more important note, it demonstrates that Kate is somebody that does not focus too much on trying to keep up a certain appearance in public.
This is where Meghan Markle in contrast has been heavily criticised after reports emerged that she had spent more money than Kate on her wardrobe, which flies in the face of trying to be relatable to the public.
Aside from the focus on clothing, Kate’s presence was welcomed as it demonstrated that she was giving back to the community during what has been a very difficult time for people.
The pandemic has led to an increasing number of citizens losing their jobs, coupled with the fact that families are becoming divided over whether they should pursue vaccination or not.
Irrespective of where Kate got her boots from, she has been praised for the strong leadership that she has shown in the aftermath of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s departure from the Royal family.
That is ultimately why, instead of Kate Middleton’s clothing, she herself has been so well received. Of course it could be that Kate uses professional shoppers and didn’t actually buy the shoes herself – after all Kate Middleton is a Princess!
