Ladies and gentlemen, it is Wednesday night, always the best night of the week if you ask me, purely because it means another edition of the modern day wrestling wars! AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT are once again set to grace us with their presence, and I could not be more excited! After all, tonight… I’m going to be there at AEW Dynamite live! Yes, they’ll be emanating from Southaven, Mississippi, which is like a half hour drive from my house, I would’ve been crazy to pass that up! It’s a special show too, billed as the AEW Anniversary, as it’s a year out from the inaugural Double Or Nothing rally, which was technically the first AEW-sponsored event of any kind!
My watching from the stands means that I’m unable to do the usual recap but I’ll still be giving you the previews as usual, and the results later tonight!
Best Friends (Trent, Chuck Taylor & Orange Cassidy) vs. Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus, Jungleboy & Marko Stunt)
Honestly, the stakes here just couldn’t be any higher… I mean, this is a battle for all hugs here! See, the Best Friends are famed for their very dramatic hugs, fit with the Okada zoom-out as the Bucks themselves have outright called it. And every time the members of the Jurassic Share a hug in the ring, they get chided for it by Trent and Chuckie on social media. This has been a bit of a running gag for months now and it seems it’s finally led to this, the logical match!
This should be a lot of fun, as they each make for some entertaining trios teams, capable of both light-hearted silliness and intense action when necessary. As for who wins it’s sort of a pick ’em really, but just going by sheer history here, I’ll predict the Best Friends.
