The war between All Elite Wrestling and WWE rages on, with the latest shot being fired by Inner Circle member Sammy Guevara. It’s a call back to when D-Generation X raided World Championship Wrestling at the peak of the Monday Night Wars in 1998. The only difference is they all came, and a jeep with a potato gun attached to create the illusion of a tank. Someone as talented as Sammy Guevara doesn’t need stuff like that, as he launched his invasion.
Sammy Guevara Takes The Battle Right To WWE
Under direct orders from Le Champion, armed with a K32 Kiddie Tank and his trusty cell phone so he can record the event for his Youtube channel in a future vlog, Sammy Guevara took to Texas and found himself at the gates of WWE. Sadly due to his tank unfortunately being a toy, the battle of 01-26-2020 was a short one. Sammy was without backup, without weaponry, and at best had a ticket to attend the event. We will get more details than we could ever want once the vlog is uploaded, as if he will record a vlog midway through a match, he has this historic day well documented.
Reports from the battlefield indicate that he would recite the iconic Steiner Math promo and start an AEW chant, and that he got the tank to the arena by strapping it to the top of his car. It must be noted that this is the same tank that recent NXT signee Shotzi Blackheart used in her days on the independent circuit, or at-least a similar model. Take that note however you will.
One Of AEW’s Biggest Prospects
All joking aside, this event shows why Sammy is one of the biggest potential stars that AEW has on their roster. He is a master of getting people talking about him, be it vlogging during a match, or using cue cards during the picture in picture commercial segments on AEW Dynamite. Combine that with his raw wrestling ability, and that he is under the learning tree of Chris Jericho, and you could have one of the biggest future stars of wrestling. But for now, he is a lonely man leading the invasion against WWE.
