AEW Dark continues with tag action as Evans & Angelico go up against the Best Friends.
The Hybrid-2 (Jack Evans & Angelico) vs. The Best Friends (Trent? & Chuck Taylor)
Trent and Jack start out, Evans with a waistlock takedown, hammerlock. Trent tries to fight out but is kept down with a headscissor. Trent handstands his way out, Evans gets flipped onto his feet and poses, mocks the crowd and gets some heat. Trent with a top wrist lock. Back body drop, but Evans flips onto his feet once more and poses again, only to be taken down with a chop! Evans with a kick and flips to the apron, kicking the camera by accident on the way down. Tries a springboard but Trent stops him with a Northern Lights Suplex! Tag to Chuckie T, double-team clothesline and back elbow!
Tag to Angelico who rushes in but eats a shoulder block. Chuck with an arm drag and Angelico bails, chant of “Best Friends”. Angelico walks to Orange Cassidy, lays him out with a cheap shot, massive heat! Best Friends come out to clobber Angelico, but Evans gets them both with a tope con hilo and stomps Cassidy for yet more heat! Angelico back in the ring, Evans tags in, Springboard Trouble In Paradise-style kick to Chuck Taylor, Angelico hooks Trent with a Gory Special, Jack with a Dropsault, kicking Trent and landing on Chuck! Angelico Gory Bombs Trent onto Chuck, Evans stands on both, Standing Shooting Star! Remarkable showing off there, double team Side Slam/Double Footstomp combo for a nearfall.
Angelico tags in, Evans holds Trent down for a PK, cover for 2! Angelico wants a suplex, but Trent kicks off the top rope for a Swinging DDT counter! Tag to Chuck, Evans charges in but gets a series of clotheslines, big boot! Evades Angelico in the corner, Pancakes him, Evans charges but a Pop-Up Powerbomb lands him right on his partner! Hoists him up, Spinning Sit-Out Powerbomb for a nearfall! Razor’s Edge/Cutter combo, Angelico has to break up the pin!
Throws Chuck from the ring, Bicycle Knee Strike to Trent takes him down, Assisted Standing Moonsault, Chuck has to break up this one! Illegal men fight to the outside, Evans up top! Cassidy on the apron! He lightly smacks at the ankles of Evans! Angelico charges for a big boot, Cassidy avoids it, The Hybrid-2 simultaneously crotch themselves! Quasi-thumbs up, big hug! Best Friends hit Strong Zero for the victory!
