WWE Friday Night SMackDown is almost over, out comes John Cena who says he really misses the audience and hopes to see them soon. Is asked about Bray blaming Cena for the transformation into the Fiend. Cena says people blaming him for their downfall is nothing new to him. Cena says that the reason he fell into a downward spiral after losing to him is because he got lazy, he gave up and he blamed him.
Cena asks why nobody ever says the same thing happens to him? Because he wins all the time? Well everyone knows he’s suffered a lot of serious setbacks. He recalls losing to the Miz at WrestleMania, Rob Van Dam at One Night Stand, getting beaten by the Rock, pulverized by Brock Lesnar, having to buy a ticket to a WrestleMania only to get squashed in less than five minutes by the Undertaker. Sadly he didn’t mention that one time he was pinned by Kevin Federline. Cena says nobody talks about Cena being buried when these things happen, because they know him. They know he will pick himself back up.
When asked why he accepted the match in spite of what he said, he says that he does want to pave the way for the future of WWE but Bray Wyatt is not that future.
Says he wants WWE to invest in the likes of McIntyre, Ciampa, Riddle, Ripley, Velveteen Dream – that’s the future. But at WrestleMania he will finish the job that should’ve been done six years ago and destroy the most overhyped, overvalued, overprivileged WWE Superstar in existence.
Bray Wyatt cackles as he steps over the barricade. Says even though he’s saying some really mean and hateful things, he is glad to see him. But does he really think anyone believes that he cares about the future? Bray tells him that he only cares for himself, will destroy and bury anyone who gets in his way just to hold onto his spotlight. Bray Wyatt talks about how for years he’s thought about that loss to Cena, how he wants to take his fingers and push them into his skull and smash his brain just to get five seconds of silence from the screams in his head. Says that Cena destroyed him and he’s going to do the same back at WrestleMania.
