After spending the bulk of 2020 as AEW World Champion, Jon Moxley tragically didn’t get to carry the belt into a new year. Kenny Omega stole the title with the help of Don Callis, in the biggest match in AEW Dynamite history. A few weeks away from AEW cleared his head, and now he’s back to tell us what’s on his mind.
Jon Moxley Wants To Beat Kenny Omega To A Bloody Pulp… With A Crowbar!
He’d hit the ring without the title, which almost became part of Moxley in 2020. With a microphone in hand though, he’d start up. He didn’t cry bloody murder over what happened in December, as he grew in a place that was not fair. Bitching and moaning are a waste of time, and wrestling is an unforgiving sport. He got the bad end of a bad deal, and he had to grit his teeth and endure.
However, Moxley will stare down this adversity and refuse to back down. He’s not going anywhere, so Kenny Omega and ‘that guy who looks like a used cars salesman’ are going to have to deal with him. Moxley has a zero tolerance for shitty people, and knows that while he could beat them to a bloody pulp tonight with a crowbar, he shouldn’t. The title he loves is on the line tonight, and maybe the better man will win and restore the integrity to the belt.
Rey Fenix has worked thirteen years to get this chance, gave his sweat and tears for this. Moxley won’t take his chance away, but if he wins, Moxley will take his belt back in a fair fight. Kenny isn’t safe though, and needs to remember that Moxley will always get even. When Moxley says he’ll do something? He will do it. The Boogeyman will forever be lurking, and one day Omega will beg for mercy after crossing the wrong guy.
