‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Thursday, August 19: Confession time
With their ordeal behind them, there’s one more thing Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) have to deal with. And that’s Ben’s near infidelity.
Yep, it looks like Ben’s going to confess that he nearly slept with Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) during the height of their frustration with Ciara.
We think Ciara will forgive him without much hesitation and then she’ll accept the blame for it and Ben will console her, but she could make him work for it.
This could start a new angle where she’s so torn up from what she caused she’ll be looking for ways to make it up to everyone.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Thursday, August 19: Claire’s leaving
It happens every so often, but it looks like we’re going to be saying goodbye to Claire this week as she’s going to be offered an exciting opportunity in South Africa.
This means she’ll be leaving with Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) and ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers think this is going to be where the writers use them offscreen to help each other heal.
So, when and if they return, they’ll be a happy couple. At least Claire doesn’t have amnesia. Too soon?
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Thursday, August 19: Johnny makes lasting impressions
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) managed to not infuriate his father for a whole ten minutes, but EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) won’t be deterred by his son showing an independent spirit.
As we’d expect, EJ’s going to try to coax Johnny into joining DiMera, but since his efforts didn’t work, he’s going to recruit Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) to help him.
This is going to be a fun segment simply because we’re curious if Chad will be willing to help EJ. First of all, he’d appreciate Johnny’s desire to do something else, but he’ll also think Johnny’s being groomed to replace him.
And since they’re all DiMeras, that’s a foregone conclusion.
Of course, Chad could envision using Johnny’s lack of desire to his benefit and use him as a spy and saboteur, but we doubt that’ll happen willingly.
