Through the past couple of weeks, the card for All Out has started to pick up steam. With many thinking that it was leading to Kenny Omega Vs. Hangman at All Out. We now know that Kenny Omega is scheduled to wrestle Christian Cage, and it doesn’t seem like Hangman Page will have any match at the PPV. PWinsider has now confirmed that Hangman is taking time away with his wife after the birth of his first child.
It makes a lot of sense that Hangman will be leaving after the birth of his child with other wrestlers leaving for a period of time. There was a lot of speculation about this, but it has now been confirmed. Hangman was always scheduled to miss All Out, making it seem like this story was always the way forward.
Why it makes sense
It makes a lot of sense why Hangman Page is leaving for a while, but in the long run, it makes more sense for Hangman Page to wrestle Kenny Omega at Full Gear rather than All Out. If you’re a long time BTE watcher, you’ll know that Full Gear was a kind of catchphrase that Hangman Page had around him for a while in his segments on BTE. So in these skits, Hangman would be Full Gear ready, making a lot of sense that Hangman Page will be prepared to take on Kenny Omega at Full Gear when Page is ready to finally beat him for the belt.
