Orange Cassidy‘s push has seemingly gone to a standstill. It seemed like he was one of the next in line to become a champion with two wins over Jericho. But the momentum has just kind of come to a standstill. Now that he has been feuding with Matt Hardy, which hasn’t led to anything special. It seems like the feud was going toward a Hair Vs. Hair, but it seems like nothing will come from that at the moment.
Orange Cassidy is in the Full Gear tournament, making it possible something new will come from this tournament. But at the moment, nothing much seems to be in the works. However, there are some hints through the last couple of months of what could happen next for Orange Cassidy.
Feud with Jon Moxley
Looking at the current bracket for the Full Gear championship tournament. It’s looking very likely that it will be Jon Moxley Vs. Orange Cassidy in the near future. At the moment, it looks likely Jon Moxley is on the warpath and is in the middle of a heel turn.
It’s likely that he will bury 10 of the Dark Order. Then turn full heel on Orange Cassidy, but it’s possible after this, we may see a feud between Jon Moxley Vs. Orange Cassidy. Heel Moxley will quickly become one of the top heels in AEW, making it a good match against one of the top babyfaces.
Heel turn on Best Friends
Jon Moxley maybe just a stepping stone, and nothing much will come from the match after the tournament. If nothing happens with the tournament, Orange Cassidy will likely continue his feud with Matt Hardy. But through this feud, we have seen some Dark Shades of Orange Cassidy.
At one point, Orange Cassidy shouting at Kris Stadtlander, and it looks like Orange Cassidy may be getting annoyed at the Best Friends and may even turn on them. Orange Cassidy is massively over, and it looks like the only way to turn heel would be to attack his best friends.
