Recently, we saw David Finlay become the newest leader of Bullet Club. He would send Jay White packing from New Japan Pro Wrestling at Battle in The Valley – after White was defeated by Eddie Kingston.
Since then, Finlay has been approved as leader by Gedo, and has made some major moves as leader. He’s promised to take Bullet Club back to it’s roots – feeling this faction has lost it’s way under the likes of Jay White or Kenny Omega.
David Finlay Wants To Bring Violence Back To Bullet Club
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, David Finlay would have a chance to speak about his mentality as the leader of Bullet Club. Simply put – he intends to make Bullet Club violent again.
“We lost sight of what Bullet Club is designed to do. We became obsessed with selling T-shirts. That isn’t our intent. Bullet Club is here to disrupt and destroy. “This is my Bullet Club. It’s going to be the most violent, ruthless version, and it’s going to be defined by blood and championship gold.”
Whatever Jay White & Juice Robinson Are Doing – It’s Not The Real Bullet Club
Recently, we would see Finlay kick El Phantasmo from the faction – with ELP not aligning with his new vision. In addition to this, he’s also spoken out against splinter groups in Bullet Club – namely Bad Luck Fale’s Rogue Army in Australia, and Jay White’s Bullet Club Gold in AEW. When it comes to White & Juice Robinson, Finlay had the following to say.
“Juice and Jay, whatever they’re doing in AEW, I don’t know what that is. Make no mistake—they are not part of the real Bullet Club.”
Jay White made his AEW debut on the April 5th episode of AEW Dynamite. Alongside Robinson, White would take aim at Ricky Starks – and will make his in-ring debut tonight as a part of the AEW roster. Komander will be the opponent of White – with White certain to get the first of many victories.
