There isn’t something in the waterm but you’d think it. Just a few short months after Becky Lynch dropped her huge baby news on the wrestling world, another would follow. While Sarah Logan’s baby news didn’t break the wrestling side of the internet, people are just as happy for her and Erik.
While on the “Table Talk” podcast with D-Von Dudley, Erik would reveal the reason behind the timing for his first child.
Making A Positive In Negative Times
While you wouldn’t think that the best time to have a baby would be after Logan would be released from WWE during a pandemic, they thought differently.
“It’s something that she and I had talked about almost since we met. We talked about having kids. We had been planning on having kids in a couple years. With Covid and all the crazy changes and all the negative that happened, she was let go from WWE earlier this year. We said, why are we waiting anymore? It worked out. I think the story of our relationship and my life is turning negatives into positives. What might be a problem that should have killed me, you turn it around and make it work for you. You make it better than you could have imagined. I feel that is what we did with her release. She started a YouTube channel that is really doing well right now. We are having a lot of fun with that.”
Having a child is the biggest change your life can face, but Logan now has a chance to take on the role of a stay at home mom. That could very well be more rewarding than any in-ring career.
Erik & Ivar Won’t Be Breaking Up Anytime Soon
While Logan is gone from WWE, Erik is still there as part of The Viking Raiders. Their feud with Street Profits is done, but they’re still ready to go for titles, without the view of solo careers on the horizon. Ivar had the following to say.
“I definitely see us staying together. I don’t see any separation. In recent years in the WWE, teams have been staying together more frequently as opposed to in the past where almost every team was doomed to break up at some point. I don’t see us breaking up anywhere in the near future. We still have a blue belt to win.”
