Conor McGregor seems to love his time off the octagon. He often shares photos and videos of himself enjoying his wealth. However, training-related posts are not lacking as well. He wants the world to see that while he parties and relaxes, he still finds time to put on a good training.
In the recent posts, one thing is more than obvious. Conor has put a solid amount of weight since his last fight. When we say ‘put weight’ do not mistake this for coming out of shape, but on the contrary, what we mean is that he has put so much muscle that he looks like a different man.
Jorge Masvidal Accuses Conor McGregor Of Using Steroids – “Take Whatever You Want, You Are Still A Little Boy”
Jorge Masvidal comes out and blames the Notorious for using performance-enhancing drugs for achieving this physique. During an interview for ESPN Deportes Spain, Masvidal told the reporters that the Conor we see these days is ‘fake’ and that he can do whatever he wants, but for him, he will remain a ‘little boy’.
“He is fake. He knows that I am a man who hits hard and that I come to kill. I don’t come to hug in the cage. I’m going to give everything inside me to kill him. I’m a little bigger. Although now he’s shooting up and putting steroids and all kinds of things, but he’s still a little boy.” – Masvidal says.
“I would love to fight at 170 pounds, but I don’t wait for anyone. If he wants to do it, I will break his face. If he doesn’t want to, let the next one come.” – The Gamebred slams.
Jorge Masvidal, now 37 years old, once was considered one of the best fighters in the UFC promotion. However, at the moment he is on a three-loss streak and is struggling to put a stop to the losing curse. The Gamebred loses twice to the champion Kamaru Usman and once to Colby Covington. Even though these recent three losses are against the top fighters of the division, that doesn’t change the fact that he hasn’t won a fight since 2019 when he fought Nate Diaz. What makes him think that he can win over Conor McGregor?
At the moment, Conor McGregor looks readier and greatly more powerful than Jorge Masvidal. Looks are not a determinative factor on who would win a fight between two fighters. However, it creates a mental photo in our heads where one is seen as superior to the other. In this case, Masvidal seems to be in a massively worse condition than the Notorious.
McGregor is on a forced pause from fighting. He is recovering from a leg injury that he obtains during his most recent fight against Poirier. He is currently back to sparring training, and according to him, he is ready to fight at any time.
However, there is still no official date for his return from the UFC. Also, despite the numerous callouts, there is no information on his next opponent.
Whoever his next opponent is, and whenever the fight will take place one is a guarantee – the fight will break pay-per-view records. And that is what Dana White wants. That’s why he is best pals with the Notorious.
