The world is oddly starved for wrestling these days. Only major companies like WWE, AEW, NJPW, and Impact Wrestling are running shows, with GCW being truly the last indy standing. However, fans are going to have what is shaping up to be an incredibly entertaining show to look forward too. Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and Rocky Romero have finished filming for a one time event, “Talk N’Shop A Mania”
Talk N’ Shop is their podcast, but this isn’t a giant podcast event, it’s a show that has been described as outragous by those involved.
Who Will Be Seen On This Show?
This show has an all star cast of legends, recent talents and more. Besides Gallows, Anderson, and Romero, fans can look forward to seeing Enzo Amore, Heath Slater, Willie Mack, Curt Hawkins, The Rock n’ Roll Express, Alex Koslov, Mike Bennett, Maria Kanellis, Chavo Guerrero, Scott D’Amore, Johnny Swinger, Teddy Long, Tyson Dean, Jeff Lewis Neal, Raven’s Flock (Sick Boy, Lodi, Reese & Scotty Riggs), and D’Lo Brown. If atleast one of those names don’t get you excited for this show, I don’t know what will. This sounds like the cast for a Joey Janela’s Spring Break show, and one name in particular stands out.
This is Alex Koslov, who was best known for his time in New Japan Pro Wrestling where he teamed with Rocky Romero as Forever Hooligans, holding the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships twice, and the ROH Tag Team Championships once. He has not wrestled since 2015, so if he has a match on this show, it’ll be the first time fans will have seen him in action in a very long time. Forever Holligans vs. Rock n’ Roll Express sounds like a great potential match.
Where Can You Watch This?
This show will air on FITE TV on Saturday, August 1st. Everything is filmed and likely being editted to ensure a smooth experience come the day. No matches have been announced, but there will be both matches and outrageous skits. The one thing we know will happen is the “Boner Match” a parody of the Boneyard Match from this years Wrestlemania, which Gallows & Anderson were involved in.
The show was taped in Luke Gallows backyard using his own personal ring. They followed strict COVID-19 screening on everyone involved before they were even let on the property, and it was done without fans in attendence.
Talk n’ Shop A Mania is going to be a fantastic show, if not just for how fun and ridiculous it should be. Even if they just had matches with Gallows doing his excellent Howard Finkel impression, it would be awesome.
