Luke Harper Could Be All Elite
Cody Rhodes has mentioned in the past that they would love to bring in someone like Luke Harper. While he’s 40 years old and his best years are behind him, he is a steady veteran with the ability to get fans behind whatever he is doing. ““He would be great as part of AEW. He’s a name that when you hear they’ve asked for their release, you definitely think about that and the next steps, for sure. I think he’s going to flourish with what he does next, he’s very special.” is what Cody had to say in regards to Luke Harper.
All Elite Wrestling Have An Upcoming Show In Harpers Home Town
On March 18th, 2020, AEW will becoming live to fans from Rochester, New York. This is big as New York is very much WWE’s territory, and it is also the home town of Luke Harper. While Harper is okay to start working on TV again on February 2nd, a debut in his home town will be the biggest way to instantly make an impact, so another month is a small price to pay. Waiting ensures him to get a big reaction.
How Will Luke Harper Do In AEW?
Harper is a man who stands out wherever he is, due to his size. At 6’5 and 275lbs, he is a big man. That is something AEW has lacked since it’s inception, with the only exceptions being Wardlow, The Butcher, Luchasarus, and Jake Hagar. It will not be hard for him to carve out a niche. He has the talent to become AEW Champion, is a tag team specialist, and really could fit into any role needed.
