I’m a hardcore wrestling fan, by which I mean I’m a hardcore fan of wrestling... but I also have nothing against hardcore wrestling! I’ve been watching since 2006, back when I was 12 years old. In that time I’ve fervently followed WWE, TNA, ROH, Lucha Underground and others. Today I’m most passionate about NXT, New Japan and especially AEW! You could call me a modern wrestling savant but I know my old school stuff as well... I’ll be your huckleberry all night long.
WWE Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2019 is coming up this weekend. And the card is coming together fairly nicely honestly, in my opinion. In spite of being bereft of world title matches, which is never all that fun, and even the Fiend being specifically not used on this show just to save it for later, it looks like it’ll be a fun time. It’s a B PPV through and through, but no reason we can’t get some fun matches. Last night, there was a match-up – and specifically it’s stip – that I speculated on after the Raw opening segment…
Hey hey everybody, Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here to finish up tonight’s previews! AEW Dark is soon to be premiering on YouTube as I type this. As I’ve been mentioning, we’re going without NWA Powerrr this week so AEW Dark is our sole source of wrestling for this lonely little Tuesday night. Thus, full scale previews! So let’s go ahead and finish them off with the super obvious main event of the week! Kenny Omega vs. Kip Sabian Kenny Omega… really likes working on AEW Dark in singles matches. It’s interesting to me. He’s so high on the totem…
AEW Dark Preview (12/10/2019) Jurassic Express vs. John Silver & Alex Reynolds | All Elite Wrestling
As said previously, it’s Tuesday, which means we’re getting our wrestling from YouTube tonight! But with NWA Powerrr having closed out it’s ‘season finale’ last week, AEW Dark is now all by it’s lonesome. Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here giving you the full-scale preview of tonight’s action, as the shadowy, underground side of All Elite Wrestling shows itself yet again… eh, that probably makes it sound too edgy. It’s a B-Show with a cool name. But it’s my favorite B-Show if that means anything! Up next, we’re looking at tag team action… Jurassic Express (Marko Stunt & Luchasaurus) vs.…
AEW Dark Preview (12/10/2019) Scorpio Sky vs. Jimmy Havoc vs. Peter Avalon | All Elite Wrestling
With Tuesday night comes another episode of AEW Dark. And since it’s usual partner NWA Powerrr is not taking place this week, I’ve opted to go ahead and let Dark have all the focus with a full-scale preview! So let’s go ahead and get into what we have for tonight. As usual there’s some unique stuff going down on AEW Dark! We begin with a triple threat match between three men who are all on very different spots on the totem pole… Scorpio Sky vs. Jimmy Havoc vs. Peter Avalon So these guys seemingly have zero in common! That’s…
Earlier today, WWE officially announced two suspensions on the grounds of wellness policy violations. Both Robert Roode and Primo Colon have been named. They are therefore going to be sitting at home without pay for the next 30 days. This is fairly significant, given that it’s the first wellness policy suspension – atleast among those that have been made public – since October of 2016. Paige was the last person to be suspended, over three years ago. That it not only happened out of the blue after all this time but also happened to two guys at once makes me…
WWE Raw Results (12/9/2019) | Buddy Murphy vs. Aleister Black Announced For WWE TLC 2019
WWE Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2019 is coming up this Sunday and the card has been rounded out a fair bit over this past week. We know that the New Day will be defending the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships against the Revival. Bray Wyatt will be squaring off with the Miz. King Corbin shall be facing Roman Reigns in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs match. And in the night’s second TLC match, we know that Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch will be going after the Kabuki Warrior’s WWE Women’s Tag Team titles. Earlier tonight on Raw, another match was…
Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here to continue my live coverage of Monday Night Raw! As I type this, the match between Rey Mysterio and AJ Styles, a bout with the WWE United States Championship on the line, just wrapped up. This bout came to be following Mysterio’s initial US title victory over the leader of the OC a couple of weeks ago. That match was the result of Mysterio defeating Drew McIntyre, Ricochet and Randy Orton in a fatal four way match. Immediately after Rey faced off with AJ and defeated him after Orton interfered for an RKO. The…
WWE Raw Results (12/9/2019) Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch vs. Kabuki Warriors TLC Match Announced
WWE Raw is still on-going as I type this but we are just about done. Just now, it’s been made official, a pretty huge match that’s been building for quite some time… Last week, Charlotte tried to take on the Kabuki Warriors in a 2-on-1 handicap match but came up short of defeating them. This week, Becky Lynch took the same challenge, and did end up winning – by DQ after they took a chair to her and put her through a table with an Insane Elbow to the floor! They then jumped Charlotte later for good measure, and when…
WWE Raw Results (12/9/2019) Kabuki Warriors DQ’d In Handicap Match With Becky Lynch, Put Her Through Table
WWE Raw is still going on as we speak and a major match on tonight’s show just came to a close. Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here fighting the good fight to recap this show as it happens! Tonight, Becky Lynch took on Asuka and Kairi Sane – the Kabuki Warriors – in a 2-on-1 handicap match. This was much like what Charlotte Flair tried to do last week, only to just barely succumb to the numbers. Charlotte offered to team with Becky earlier in the night but Becky opted to go it alone against the WWE Women’s Tag Team…
WWE Raw Results (12/9/2019) Seth Rollins Reveals Allegiance To AOP, Lays Out Kevin Owens
Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here to continue the coverage of tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw. And as WWE Raw continues, we’ve just seen a big revelation in the major angle that’s been the focus of Raw these past few weeks – the situation that’s been brewing between Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins and Akam & Rezar – the AOP! Kevin Owens spent the entire first two hours of the show in hot pursuit of the big man tag team. His chase saw him going through backstage with a lead pipe – loaned to him by WWE United States Champion…
