CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers pick up shortly after Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Billy Abbot’s (Jason Thompson) last fight, where it seemed that expecting understanding for who he is was a bit much to ask, as Victoria expects different things from her father and life partner.
That seems reasonable, especially considering the harsh lessons she’d had to deal with prior. In most stories, this is when the two find common ground, something to keep them together no matter what. But then this isn’t most shows, so any fairy tale endings can be tossed aside for the moment. At least, for these two.

Lifetime of scars
It’s hard to get over being let down or traumatized so often from a loved or trusted one, and Victoria is no different than anyone else in this regard. It’s a pretty cool way of showing real world problems aren’t just cleaned away with a magic pen, or that there’s some greater force in store for them.
Well, a greater force may play a part coming up, but we’re getting ahead of ourselves.
There was a moment of clarity when Victoria visited her mom, and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) actually seemed to take Billy’s side when she said she had to learn to accept her husband’s, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), faults for what they are because that’s what love is about.
Victoria’s surprised expression said it all, and Nikki quickly told her she was quick to call Victor on things she thought were wrong, and he did the same. It lifts each other up and makes them better people.
Reconciliation was so close, but would it happen?
Victor’s move
Of course, Victor had to be out visiting a friend when Victoria visited, and given his previous reaction when he heard they were having difficulties, it feels safe to say he wouldn’t have been so gentle in his response. Most likely, Billy would’ve disappeared until someone dug up a secluded corner of a forest or garbage yard. Not that Victor would ever do anything like that. Accidents happen, you know. People trip, get caught on wire and strangle themselves on it. Nothing so see, and no muss or fuss. Anyway…
See? Nothing to worry about. CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers wouldn’t get everyone worked up over nothing. Or would we?
All seemed calm thanks to Nikki’s efforts until Victor received pictured of Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), sitting and chatting with Billy. It was hinted that Victor had her followed for some time for some reason that’ll come to light in the coming days or weeks, but to have proof of her and Billy meeting since before Christmas?
Above we tried our hand at some gallows humor, and… well, it looks like it may not be humor if Victor has his way. We’ll get to see two choices. The first is he’ll have Billy taken and roughed up before ending it, possibly signaling the actor is leaving the show.
According to Soapdirt.com, CBS may switch Jason Thompson out for Billy Abbot’s former actor, Billy Miller. If they do, this would be the perfect time given the character’s left Victoria and Victor has “proof” of his infidelity. An accident later, and the switch can be made under “miraculous” conditions and we move on from there.
If this is CBS’ attempt, then it’s laid out the groundwork pretty well and we’ll be in for some surprises.
But more than a potential actor trade, what about Victoria and Billy? Do they get back together? Will they eventually meet halfway?
We’ll probably find out the answer to this at some point, so until then might as well enjoy the show and read CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers. Who better to soothe to break the news?
