What do you do when you happen to be driving down a deserted road and find a WWE wrestler’s title belt right in front of you? First off, you don’t panic. Second, you don’t ignore it. Third, you realize that you have something mighty big on your hands here and that you are about to become everyone’s hero by doing the right thing, even though this might sound pretty unbelievable to all of your friends and your family. Here’s what you need to know.
According to reports, a man by the name of Frank Price just happened to be minding his own business after enjoying a great day scalloping with his wife Katie and their friends. They were driving from Port St. Joe back to their home in Tallahassee when they happened to stumble upon Chris Jericho’s WWE title belt. Yep, you read that right.
Jericho’s Title Belt Found In The Middle Of The Road
As they pulled into a highway, Price noticed what looked like a velvet bag in the middle of a turn lane near Capital Circle Southwest. Price decided to pick up the bag but didn’t open it until he got home. “I think I said something like, ‘Whoa, it’s a huge wrestling belt, check this thing out!’ ” Price said. “I never would have guessed that if I had a lifetime of guesses.”
And that’s exactly what it was: Jericho’s All Elite Wrestling belt. Apparently, the belt was left behind by the man himself after he dined at the LongHorn Steakhouse on North Monroe Street in Tallahassee that night. Jericho reported the $30,000 belt stolen that night. The driver of Jericho’s limousine got in touch with Price after he put an ad in the Lost & Found section of his local CraigsList site. “It’s pretty comical,” Price said. “It’s like the start for a great screenplay. This story could have gone in so many other funny directions. There are so many funny twists to it.”
