We are about halfway through tonight’s edition of WWE Raw as I type this. I’m Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here continuing the coverage, with live results from the show as it’s going down! The match that just took place was an impromptu one, pitting two of WWE’s biggest Spanish stars against one another.
Backstage Humberto Carrillo was being interviewed when Zelina Vega came to get in his youthful, dimpled face for reasons unexplained. Much yelling in Spanish ensued between Humberto, Zelina and her charge, Andrade. Before you knew it, a match between the two was made and took place not too long after.

Humberto rolls out of the way of a moonsault, Andrade lands right on his feet and nails the Meteora!!! Hype! Andrade hits the corner, but Humberto springs up, gets a big head of steam for a running dropkick! Andrade shoves Humberto to the ropes where Zelina Vega distracts him… he puts on the brakes, but evades Andrade who nails her and sends her to the floor! Victory roll from Humberto follows, and that is that!
Winner: Humberto Carrillo
As you can see, Humberto ended up taking the victory. This was built as his biggest win yet on Monday Night Raw. It was also noted that it was the first loss Andrade has suffered on Raw since being drafted to the show back in October. So they certainly tried to make a big deal out of the result itself.
Afterwards, Zelina Vega and Andrade started yelling at one another, teasing dissension between the two for the first time since they first paired up in NXT three years ago. I can’t help but note this comes shortly after news broke that Andrade – and real life girlfriend Charlotte Flair – was filing trademarks for his old ringname, La Sombra.
