The New Beginning series takes a look at both New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) New Beginning tours taking place in Japan and the United States.

The fourth event of The New Beginning USA tour sees New Japan of America (NJoA) come to Miami, Florida, and the Charles F. Dodge City Center.

The card begins with Misterioso/Yoshi-Hashi teaming against 2nd Generation New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) Los Angeles Dojo Young Lion Clark Connors and former NJPW LA Dojo Young Lion TJP.

Next NJPW Tokyo Dojo 3rd Generation Young Lions Yuji Nagata and Satoshi Kojima team against two 2nd Generation NJPW LA Dojo Young Lions Alex Coughlin and Karl Fredericks in a match spanning multiple NJPW Dojo generations.

The 3rd match of the evening sees current 8x National Wrestling Alliance World Tag Team Champions Rock ‘n’ Roll Express (Ricky Morton/Robert Gibson) against the new tag team pairing of Toru Yano and Colt Cabana.

Then former NEVER Openweight Champion Jeff Cobb faces NJPW LA Dojo Young Lion Ren Narita, who is on an excursion in the United States. Former IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Lance Archer faces NJoA newcomer Alex Zayne in the fifth match before the headline and marquee matches of the night.

The NJPW/CHAOS team of Rocky Romero and IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions FinJuice (Juice Robinson/David Finlay) face the Bullet Club team of Jado, Chase Owens, and Yujiro Takahashi. Yujiro and Owens have teamed together 119 times since May 2016, in 33 of those matches Yujiro and Owens have operated as a tag team unit facing opponents such as former IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship teams Killer Elite Squad (K.E.S.) and The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson).

The marquee of the January 30th event sees former 5x KO-D (King of DDT) Tag Team Champion and IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion team with former CMLL World Tag Team Champion, GHC Tag Team Champion, and 2x IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champion — Hiroshi Tanahashi against the former 5x IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Guerrillas of Destiny (G.O.D.) [Tama Tonga/Tanga Loa] who are coming off a dominate 5th reign with the titles; which saw them successfully defend the championship on seven occasions.

The match prelude to G.O.D.’s v1 challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship against FinJuice on February 1st in Atlanta, Georgia.

On New Year Dash, the team of Tanahashi and Ibushi formed in a quest to chase the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships, however, Bullet Club teams of G.O.D. and a polished Owens/Takahashi duo could present several hurdles in the immediate future.
