WWE Super Show-Down rages on, following that Raw tag team title match. Mansoor and Dolph Ziggler to be facing off now, Mansoor once again proving very popular in his native Saudi Arabia. Ziggler has Robert Roode here backing him up today.
Mansoor vs. Dolph Ziggler w/ Robert Roode
Roode gets in Mansoor’s face before the match, who retaliates with a shove. Mansoor hits Roode with a dropkick, as Roode and Ziggler start yelling. The ref ejects Roode from the match. Roode gets back up ont he apron to plead his case but the ref isn’t having it and he finally leaves. Bell rings now. Both men aggressively tie up, Ziggler gets him in the corner, kick to the midsection and quickly gets the upper hand, locking Mansoor into a headlock. Dolph gets a shoulder tackle, and people are starting to boo him. They tie up again, Ziggler gets a hold of the arm and rakes the eyes. Mansoor gets a wristlock and starts to get some momentum going, getting the advantage momentarily. Mansoor lands a shoulder tackle on Ziggler, and the crowd starts to rally behind the home team. Mansoor with a standing moonsault, kickout at two. Ziggler lands a dropkick, cover, kickout.
Dolph taunts the crowd, hits a snapmare to lead into an elbow to the chest. Dolph gets a chinlock and a bodyscissors, trying to wear down Mansoor. Mansoor ends up against the ropes, Dolph gives him a nasty rake of the eyes. Dolph gets Mansoor to the ground, kind of in the crossface position, and threatens to break the native babyface’s arm. Dolph with a cocky pin, driving Mansoor into the corner. Dolph antagonizes the crowd even further, Mansoor with a back elbow to regain some momentum. Mansoor jumps over the rope, hits an enziguri on the apron. Plants Ziggler on the mat for a nearfall.
Mansoor goes to the top, Ziggler strikes him and sends him tumbling down into the tree of woe. He gets up, gets Zig Zagged, and barely kicks out. Dolph starts tuning up the band, whiffs the superkick, Mansoor gets cradled, barely escapes, Mansoor hits what the announce team describes as an “Inside Out Sliced Bread DDT” on Dolph, gets back to the top for a moonsault, and that’s the match.
Winner: Mansoor
As one would expect, a solid and popular victory for the Saudi Arabian boy.
