When it comes to professional wrestling, there is one man who’s legend transcends the sport. This is Hulk Hogan. One of the biggest stars to ever come out of the industry, Hogan was at the forefront of wrestling during one of it’s boom periods as the ultimate hero. He then flipped the script when things got stale, and was revealed as the third man of the N.W.O. With the NWO being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame, Hogan will be in town for Wrestlemania. Could we see The Hulkster lace up his boots for a final farewell?
Hulk Hogan Wants To Finish His Career In A WWE Ring
Hogan has long expressed his interest in one final WrestleMania match because he wants his final match in a WWE ring. As of right now, he has wrestled his final match in Impact Wrestling back in 2012. His final televised match was against Sting, but his final match in general was on a TNA live event where he teamed with James Storm & Sting to defeat Bobby Roode, Bully Ray & Kurt Angle. A star like Hogan deserves to go out on a bigger stage then an untelevised event. Hogan was crucial to the success of Wrestlemania, and it would be the perfect place for him to have his final send off.
Hogan Has Been Training Hard To Try And Get One Final Match
At 66 years old and with a back held together by duct tape and prayer, it is an uphill battle for Hogan to get his wish of one last match. The time might have passed for this to be a possible option, with him probably not even being able to do his iconic Atomic Leg Drop anymore. Any match he would have would have to be a tag team match, so a younger talent could help Hogan’s final match not be an embarrassment.
Regardless if he wrestles or not, Hogan will have a role at Wrestlemania as inductees to the Hall Of Fame will be spotlighted at the event. This might be all we see of Hogan, but anything is possible in professional wrestling.
