One of the more underrated aspects of NXT is their often excellent tag team division. Undisputed Era duo Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish has proven to be the best around, but they are lacking their gold. They lost the NXT Tag Team Championships to Matt Riddle & Pete Dunne at NXT Takeover Portland, and desperately want them back. On their road to the titles, old rivals have come knocking in the form of the hard hitting Brit-Am Brawlers (Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch)
Tag Team Chemistry Is The Signature Of Undisputed Era
While the duo of Lorcan & Burch are as tough as they come, they are no match for the years of experience of Fish & O’Reilly. While it wouldn’t be an easy victory, their ability to always know where their partner dwells allowed them to nail their High-Low combo on Oney Lorcan to secure a very strong victory. The matches between these teams are always a must see affair, with words not doing the fast paced action justice.
Who Will Face The Broserweights?
Following their victory, we would see Fish & O’Reilly take to the microphone to call out the new tag team champions and get the first shot. Matt Riddle & Pete Dunne would come out to accept their challenge, but wouldn’t get to speak. This was because Zack Gibson & James Drake of NXT UK are wanting to be next in line as well. They would best down the tag team champions and claim they are the true number one contenders.
Undisputed Era and Grizzled Young Veterans are both teams who have a claim at The Broserweights. While both teams have fallen to the odd couple of Matt Riddle & Pete Dunne, their tag team experience has them optimistic that they can become tag team champions over a team who have barely gotten their feet wet. They both want to end the cinderella story of The Broserweights, and will do anything they can to get that chance.
