AEW Dynamite rolls on and we get another bit of the Bubbly Bunch as they all argue over who won the Flim Flam Challenge last week. Jericho doesn’t believe Sammy won but Sammy says anyone who denies it can suck his hand sanitizer. Jericho says they should all fight each other and have a melee. Hager likes it, says it’ll hurt but it will make them stronger. They start punching and kicking the screen and sending each other flying and somehow Peter Avalon gets hit with a shoe… and when he strikes back it hits Jungleboy! Jungle has to swing from a vine to counter attack! Sonny Kiss, Dr. Luther, Ted Irvine and several other cameos made here, even Jay and Silent Bob getting into the action. And Soultraine Jones! Lou Ferrigno, Gabriel Iglesias and more. Vickie Guerrero laughs off the punch. Then yells “Are you kidding me?!” until Jericho demands they stop, says that was awesome and one of the best Manitoba Melees he’s ever been a part of. Then, we have Jimmy Havoc and Kip Sabian making their way out for the No DQ match against the Best Friends.
The Best Friends vs. Jimmy Havoc & Kip Sabian
The heels attack before the bell and it quickly rings since it’s No DQ! Fight swiftly taken to the outside, Chuck holds Jimmy and Kip in place for a Tope Con Hilo from Trent! Jimmy takes over there, takes a chair to the back of Trent… then turns right around and blasts Orange Cassidy! Cassidy is just straight-up out! Kip sends Trent into the steps as Havoc works over Chuck. Jimmy with a snap suplex taking Chuck onto a pile of chairs! He tries what would basically be a Conchairto focused on the arm but Trent stops it, spearing the hell out of Havoc! Sabian with a tope to Trent though, surprised him! Kip takes Trent into the ring and stomps across his back and chest. On the outside Havoc tosses another chair into Chuck’s face, meanwhile Kip with a power whip to the corner on Trent!
Jimmy slides a ladder into the ring. Sabian and Havoc with a mocking tag as they isolate Trent, take him to the opposite corner, and Havoc hurls the ladder at him! Sets the ladder up between the ropes, Catapaults him face-first into it, brutal impact! Nearfall! Jimmy bites the ear of Trent. Pulls him up and into the heel corner, tag to Kip. Snapmare from Jimmy, Kip with a kick to the back, Jimmy hits the ropes and pretends a sliding clothesline is coming but he stops and flips him off as Sabian kicks him right in the back of the head! Chuck tries to intervene but Sabian keeps him out of the ring. Havoc working over Trent, forearm takes him to the heel corner. Kip tags in, situating that ladder again, Trent tries to fight out of the corner, tries for a body block but he’s taken out of the air. Cover, Chuck has to break up the pin! But they again send Chuck out of the ring and now they have Trent sat up in a chair in the corner.
Havoc whips Kip who goes for a big senton but Trent avoids it and Kip crashes and burns! Chuck in the ring, avoids a chair shot and gets the Sexy Chuckie Knee! Best Friends toss two simultaneous chairs at Havoc and then hug above him! Kip tries to charge in but gets taken down with a Half N Half Suplex from Trent! Chair wedged between the ropes. Chuck with a floatover after Kip tries to throw him into the chair but Sabian reverses the whip to send him into it! Trent with a big Tornado DDT! Almost skateboarding the chair into Kip’s face! Jimmy wants a chair shot but Trent stops him with a body shot, takes the chair to the spine! Trent takes Kip onto the rope-hung ladder. Goes up top. Havoc pulls Sabian free though and steps up onto the ladder, hooks Trent for a superplex attempt. Trent knocks him to the mat though, Trent stands… but Havoc at the last second trips him up and he lands backfirst onto the ladder! Yikes!
Havoc sets up like three chairs on their side and bodyslams Trent right onto it! Damn that looked painful! And then Kip with a Double Footstomp off the top rope nailed as Trent’s still in that position, yikes! Chuck has to break it up! Havoc wants a Tiger Suplex onto a chair where the legs are facing up, but Chuckie counters, body slams him right onto it! And then he piledrives Sabian onto another chair!!! Penelope has to pull Kip out of the pin! Chuck charges and Havoc with a back body drop sends him right onto the ladder and nearly breaks it, you could actually see it bend momentarily! This ladder sells very well.
Orange Cassidy back onto the apron, gently tosses a chair into Havoc’s face! Penelope tries a running kick from the apron but Cassidy avoids it and she kicks Kip instead! Cassidy casually avoids a clothesline, then sidesteps her and sends her into Kip driving him into the barrier! Cassidy with a leap off the middle rope taking out Ford and Sabian on the outside, Chuck Taylor with a crazy Running Inverted Sit-Out Tombstone Piledriver onto a stack of chairs, Jesus! That is that!
Winner: Best Friends
Holy crap that was a lot more than I expected it to be. Afterwards, Orange sits upon the chair in the middle of the ring with his thumb halfway up. Trent and Chuck tease another but instead go to a knee and join him with the half thumbs up.
