Winner: Hikaru Shida
Boy was that physical. Hikaru definitely has to go after Nyla at this point, they even made a big deal out of her winning streak, she’s won eight of the last nine at this point.
We see a video of Kenny Omega and Michael Nakazawa trying to come up with a team name, Nakazawa wants them to be called the Best Friends. Kenny says they can’t do that since the Best Friends already exist. Nak says Kenny’s an EVP so he can make it happen. Kenny admits that he has a point… but Orange Cassidy steps out of a door behind them. He casually kicks the front door open and in come Trent and Chuck Taylor, furious over what they heard, angry that Kenny and Nak think they might be better Best Friends than them. So now the name is on the line in this upcoming match, a big raise in the stakes!
