WWE has a chance to do something truly special come Money In The Bank. This year, given the odd circumstances of the world, they are deciding to mix up the classic format of the match. Instead of a pretty basic 6 person ladder match, talent will have to climb the WWE Headquarters, with the briefcase being on the roof of the building. Talent start at the bottom and it will be a mad scramble. WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry has some ideas on what WWE would be able to do to make this match something to remember.
Mark Henry Wants WWE To Use This Chance To The Fullest
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Mark Henry spook on the amazing chance that WWE has ahead of them. “Oh man, it could be like Donkey Kong” Henry began, discussing about the ‘corporate ladder’ MITB match specifically. “It could be like a video game, it could be like the old Tron movie.
I can see Vince landing a helicopter on the roof and handing somebody the title, saying ‘YOU DESERVE THIS.’ If you can make it up? If you could think it, then it can be done in pro wrestling. And I think that is the thing that is happening in this pandemic. We’re actually being allowed, even more so than before, to rely on coming up with something that’s going to be so creative and so out of the box that you just sit back and go ‘I can’t believe that just happened.
I’m excited, and the really creative people are able to voice those opinions and try just throw sh*t at the wall and see what sticks. Don’t do what’s common. Don’t do what’s expected. Do what is unexpected. That’s what we, that’s what we want anyway.”
WWE has proven that they are able to come up with something truly incredible, as they did it on both nights of Wrestlemania with both the Boneyard Match as well the Firefly Funhouse. These matches are very likely to be pretaped affairs, meaning the opportunties are endless.
Do you hope that WWE is able to make this show something to remember? Would you have preferred a more traditonal match as opposed to the ‘Climb The Corperate Ladder’ approach? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
