Since he exploded onto the WWE scene during the NXT Breakout Tournament in 2019, Angel Garza has climbed through the ranks of WWE incredibly fast. He would become NXT Cruiserweight Championship during an excellent series of matches with now WWE alumni Lio Rush, lost the title at Worlds Collide in early 2020, and would find his way to Monday Night RAW as a client of Zelina Vega. Within a year of his debut for the company, he was competting at Wrestlemania, where he teamed with Austin Theory to challenge The Street Profits for the RAW Tag Team Championships. He has more potential and hype than most in WWE at the moment, and has drawn comparisons to an absolute legend of the squared circle.
Angel Garza Is Bringing Latino Heat Back
While Andrade might be pegged to be the next big hispanic star within WWE, fans might almost prefer the absolute charisma and style that comes with Angel Garza. They are equal as far as wrestling ability goes, but Garza has him beat every day of the year in how he presents himself. It might take him a while to reach the potential heights of Guerrero, but if Garza continues his upward climb; it is not out of the question. Guerrero didn’t become a star ready for the WWE Championship overnight, it was an upward climb over many years.
Will Andrade & Garza Be Splitting Up Soon?
A few short weeks ago, it seemed like the trio of Andrade, Garza & Theory were set to take Monday Night RAW by storm. However, there was clearly trouble in paradise, with Theory being kicked out in brutal fashion. Theory moved on quite quickly, joining forces with Seth Rollins and Murphy, but you need to wonder if the issues will extend between Andrade & Garza. We could see them battle it out, see who is worthy of the managerial services of Zelina Vega. The winner of this potential feud will be set for huge things, but both could very well go on to be stars.
