WWE Monday Night Raw continues. Backstage all the babyfaces are congratulating Becky Lynch on her announcement. It’s got a pretty sincere vibe to it, very nice. Then, out comes Bobby Lashley and we see a recap of his dominant run through the Gauntlet match only to be stopped by a very garbage DQ. He will be facing Humberto Carrillo based off of that. And this is a No DQ match!
No Disqualification Match: Bobby Lashley vs. Humberto Carrillo
Lashley takes him down with a quick waistlock takedown and then smacks him across the face. Drives him into the corner. Walks over to the opposite corner and charges but Carrillo slips to the apron only to eat an elbow. Lashley flips him into the ring but Carrillo lands on his feet and returns the big slap to Lashley! Bobby looks furious. Humberto charges and Lashley hoists him up with a big spinebuster! Carrillo low bridges Lashley to the outside and hits the ropes for a dive but Lashley blocks this with a forearm! Bobby goes over to grab a steel chair but as he approaches the ring Humberto surprises him with a flying dropkick off the apron, sending the chair into his face! Commercial break.
Carrillo with a dropkick in the ring as we come back, Springboard Enziguri sends Lashley out of the ring! Humberto with a baseball slide but Lashley evades him only for Carrillo to dodge a big boot and leap up to the barricade. But as he flies off of it Lashley catches him and tosses him right into the ringpost! Lashley swings a steel chair but Carrillo dodges it and Lashley hits the ringpost. Carrillo gets a hold of the chair and nails Lashley a few times with it before taking him into the ring. Carrillo goes up top and flies at Lashley but Bobby catches him out of the air and cinches him into a Full Nelson! Might as well call it the Masterlock because it nets Lashley the victory.
Winner: Bobby Lashley
I want to say that Bobby’s already won with that in the past few weeks but the notion of a Full Nelson finisher in 2020 is so alien to me that I think it completely erased itself from my mind.
Anyway the Street Profits are in the gym preparing for a 2-on-2 basketball game with the Viking Raiders. Elsewhere, Erik is unhappy that they picked this game out of everything to challenge them to. Ivar asks if it’d help if they sang some karaoke and Erik angrily says no.
