CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers here with a fun throwback spoiler that showcases Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline McInnes Wood) and Thomas Forrester (Adam Gregory) at their sibling tag team best in this episode from December 28, 2011. Or is it their worst?
It’s interesting how siblings in these shows share everything to the point it’s hard to tell who’s with who, who’s interested in who, and who hates who. But when in the throes of passion, they also tend to share the same spouses repeatedly. At least they never cross the line between clean (not healthy) relationships and more taboo ones.
Working it out
Few pairings have worked so well as a team like Steffy and Thomas, and we get to see what’s become a regular pattern when one of them needs or wants something. Since it’s generally beneficial to the other, it also brings up the question as to how are they not twins? Seriously, that would explain how they tend to share the same wavelength so often.
In this instance, Thomas is chasing his one true love, Hope Logan (Kim Matula). The only problem here is she’s interested in Liam (Scott Clifton), who also happens to be married to Steffy. Hope is Thomas’ white whale, and at some point, his pursuit of her will get him killed. Mark this date when CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers said that.
Steffy has the joy of being married to her white whale, Liam. Liam is and will always be in love with Hope. This has complicated things with the quartet to this day, Still, there’s always a chance of their plans working. Sometimes it’s fate, and sometimes it’s by design. In this case, it could be either one as they found their way to the same resort in Cabo.
They’re either unlucky, or dumb as twin piles of bricks.
Plans come and go
Steffy and Thomas are pretty smooth and seamless in their happenings, like when Hope and Thomas were nearby, Steffy pretended to lose her ring. Once she “found” it, Liam put it back on her finger and she said it made her feel like when they were married.
Thomas played his part perfectly by holding a towel over Hope’s head while they watched a video to keep her from seeing Liam, and tried to convince her to rent an ATV and go for a ride.
But not everything works as planned, as later on Steffy attempted to get Liam out of the resort through some minor complaining, but he was content there. And as luck would have it, when Steffy went to their room to get changed to meet him at the restaurant, Liam found a magazine just laying there with an old add of him and Hope. He took a trip down memory lane, then decided Steffy was taking too long and ordered without her.
The reason she was late was Steffy called Thomas to tell him she failed at convincing Liam to leave he resort. Thomas then admitted that he and Hope weren’t growing any closer, which prompted a pep talk from Steffy about him being able to romance her.
To his credit, Thomas told her he wouldn’t manipulate or trap Hope. Gotta wonder where this white knight disappeared to, eh?
As they talked, Steffy explained that Liam and Hope still had a strong bond, and it had to be severed permanently if they were going to be happy.
CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers have grown so accustomed to Steffy being a spoiled princess, we often forget she has some claws when she really wants something. It’s good to see them paired up again, and hopefully we’ll see more of it in the future. Maybe her and Thomas will win one at some point?
