From the likes of Tajiri & William Regal, Kenzo Suzuki & Rene Dupree, Hulk Hogan & Edge, there have been a ton of teams who have been thrown together. However, few gelled as good as Cesaro & Sheamus. Known as The Bar, they would become five time tag team champions, holding the RAW Tag Team Championships four time and the Smackdown Tag Team Championships once. This all added up to 341 days as champion, over which they had classics with teams like The New Day, The Usos, Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins, and The Hardy Boyz. However, when Sheamus would nearly retire due to injury, Cesaro would go solo once again. With Sheamus back again, are we due for a reunion of old partners?
Cesaro Is Facing The Current Rival Of Sheamus At Money In The Bank
With Jeff Hardy going out on his own after Matt Hardy left WWE for All Elite Wrestling, his first major feud back is against Sheamus. Despite this, at Money In The Bank, Hardy will instead be facing Cesaro. Considering The Bar split on good terms, we could see them reunite during this match, especially should Hardy win. Cesaro has been running with Shinsuke Nakamura & Sami Zayn for the past few months, but there is always room for more in that faction.
Sheamus Is Gunning For The WWE Intercontinental Championship
There have been few people as dominant in recent WWE history as Sheamus, but he has never held the Intercontinental Championship during his time in the company. That is what motivated him out of retirement, and his focus on that might keep this reunion from happening. Due to Cesaro being linked to the current champion Sami Zayn, that would create a very tense situation. We could even see Cesaro face Sheamus should he chase that title, which would be their first match against each other since their Best Of Seven Series back in 2016. They have only gotten better chemistry since that feud, so that match would be an absolute treat for all.
With Smackdown being low on established tag teams outside of The New Day, a reunion of The Bar might be viewed as necessary. Would you want to see Cesaro & Sheamus come together again, or should they remain singles superstars? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
