Becky Lynch Will Be Back In The WWE Ring Eventually

One of the best wrestling moments of 2020 came the night after Money In The Bank. Becky Lynch would come to the ring holding the Money In The Bank briefcase, which Asuka won the night prior. Inside wouldn’t be a contract for a title match, but rather the title itself. Lynch would reveal the ladder match was for the championship itself and award Asuka with the title. This would end her record setting reign at 399 days, with the person who actually ended it being Seth Rollins. Lynch gave up the title and stepped away the ring to go become a mother, but this isn’t how her story ends.

Seth Rollins Feels Becky Lynch Will Be Back

While becoming a parent is a reward career in it’s own right, someone like Lynch will find her way back into the ring. Her husband, Seth Rollins knows this will happen. During an interview with New York Post, he would be asked about this and say the following.

“Oh yea, I expect so. Obviously that’s gonna be up to her and how she feels. Who knows what happens after childbirth once she becomes a mother, I don’t know. I believe she has aspirations to return. I think she would rather go out on her own terms whenever that time may be as opposed to stepping away for a child. I think she has aspirations to return, but I don’t know. Things can change between now and December.”

We can expect WWE to save this return for a future Royal Rumble to lean into the massive reaction. The earliest we will likely see her back is around 2022, to give her plenty of time with her child and to let her body recover.

Lynch Misses The Chaos Of Wrestling

From the same interview, Rollins would let everyone know how Lynch is handling the abrupt move away from wrestling. “Oh, she hates it. She doesn’t hate not being around the business. Obviously, any kind of entertainment industry is gonna stress you out, so she doesn’t miss that part of it. She missed the go, go, go. She missed having goals in mind. She missed having something to work toward. And it’s hard because I’ve never been a pregnant person, so she’s in a position too where she’s had to just walk away and stop abruptly, her job. It wasn’t like most other women who are pregnant are able to still work their jobs while they’re pregnant and slowly transition out for a short period of time. The nature of our industry, she can’t do that.”

While things could change, it seems very likely that everyones favorite Lasskicker will be back in the ring eventually. Do you want to see her come back? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
