Hello and welcome to another theme week. CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers here to help get things going with our first throwback spoiler of the Paul& Christine Week. This week’s episodes will cover the years 1994 to the early 2000s during this couple’s reign as the super couple of daytime television. It’s a cool testament to how far they grew since first appearing as well as their staying power.
Paul makes his move
Originally aired on September 21, 1994, this episode has the potential for some fun moments as Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) wants everything to be perfect when he proposes to Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell). This is an interesting concept as it’s been used a million and one times throughout the years by sitcoms and dramas to create some awesome stressful moments as well as come excellent funny ones. Given the pressure Paul will undoubtedly place on himself, CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers can’t help but expect a couple of zany moments. What makes this all the more alluring is the fact there are no recaps online and not everyone will remember or have seen this, so it’s going to be fun.
Paul may end up proposing covered in cake with a hose wrapped around his leg. Should be interesting to see what’s going to happen.
Sharon knows what she wants
Inspiration often comes on a whim. It could be a sight, smell, or raw desire among other things. Whatever the cocktail that ignites the fire in Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), once she saw Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) the game was on in her mind.
We’re not entirely sure if Nick was the beginning of her collecting the Newman men as online site tend to differ, but it feels like a safe bet to us. Plus, it makes sense as Sharon’s always been someone that seems to know what she wants immediately and goes after it.
Whether she gets her prize or not is another question, but she doesn’t miss often, and this puts poor Nick right in the crosshairs of an experienced hunter, and someone he would love for the rest of his life.
Since we all know Nick isn’t some innocent lamb, it does bring up the question as to whether or not he was aware of Sharon from the beginning and played coy to lure her in or if he really was innocent and naïve at this point.
CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are leaning toward for former rather than the latter. Still, it’s awesome to see the beginning of the bonds between characters start like this. Who would’ve thought we’d be celebrating these relationships twenty-six years later?
