WWE Monday Night Raw continues. R-Truth comes up to Bobby Lashley and MVP backstage. He makes a bunch of gags about how Lashley got sent to Claymore Country and he doesn’t know where that is but he must be jetlagged. They threaten him and note that they don’t see Drew McIntyre around. Truth makes his leave and they follow him to the PC rings and Truth somehow gets himself trapped under the ring, claiming to fend off the many ninjas that apparently threaten WWE. Drew McIntyre does actually appear and after a short argument with the heels, MVP makes a challenge – to make their tag team match later a Winner Take All match with Truth and McIntyre putting the 24/7 and WWE titles on the line. Truth accepts on Drew’s behalf and after some consideration, McIntyre agrees as well. I wish I could say I couldn’t believe this was a real match. Now out come Liv Morgan and Natalya for a tag team match with the IIconics.
Liv Morgan & Natalya vs. The IIconics
Liv wants to start with Peyton but Nattie tags herself in rather forcefully for some reason. Royce takes her down immediately and brings her to the IIconic corner. Nattie fights back to attack them both, Billie tags in and comes in with a double foot stomp to the back. She stomps her a bit, makes the IIconic pose. Nattie makes her comeback, tag to Liv and she takes outb oth women, hair facebuster to Billie. Back elbow out of the corner, nice missile dropkick off the second rope, cover gets broken up by Peyton Royce. Nattie comes in but Royce throws her out of the ring, Morgan rolls up Kay but the ref is distracted, Billie kicks out eventually. Royce blind tags in before Liv could notice and they hit the Fall From Grace for the victory.
Winners: The IIconics
Kay and Royce get on the mics afterwards and call out Sasha Banks and Bayley, say this is what happens when they take on one team rather than three. They say they’ve been bragging about being able to go to every show with those titles so why not come out and face them? They’re challenging them right here tonight! But they’re not here. So they say that’s okay because they know somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody and they can get that match made next week.
