It doesn’t matter if you love him or hate him, everyone has an opinion on Brock Lesnar. One of the greatest champions of our era, he has been off WWE TV since Wrestlemania. At that event, he would lose the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre, despite his best efforts. Since that moment, we haven’t even heard a pep from him. The most we’ve seen is Paul Heyman in a skit for the Money In The Bank ladder match. He won’t stay away forever, so when will we see The Beast Incarnate next?
Brock Lesnar Will Likely Never Wrestle Infront Of An Empty Crowd Again
Wrestlemania 36 was an odd experience for Lesnar, being his first match in decades where there wasn’t a huge crowd. Instead he wrestled in the main event of Wrestlemania, to an empty crowd. This was bizarre, and given how much Lesnar makes per appearance, it makes sense why he hasn’t been around since that day.
Until crowds are back in arenas, we will likely not see Brock Lesnar. While he can help draw viewers to shows like Monday Night RAW, he wouldn’t be worth it at the moment.
Rematch With McIntyre Or Clash With Lashley Likely To Be His Next Match
Lesnar only comes around for big money matches, and there are two of those awaiting his return. The first is a rematch with Drew McIntyre, the man who ended his most recent reign as WWE Champion. Lesnar doesn’t go long these days without winning a championship, so once crowds are back, expect to see him look for his rematch.
Another big match that is awaiting him is a long awaited clash with Bobby Lashley. They are both agile powerhouses with MMA experiences. With Lashley becoming a more main event level talent and with MVP around to match Paul Heyman on the microphone, this could be a huge match in feel. It might not deliver much of an end product at this point, but it would be a spectacle that would fit on a card like Wrestlemania, no championships or stakes needed.
Brock Lesnar will be back, and when he does he’ll be right back to his dominant ways. When do you expect to see him back in the ring, and who would you want to be his first opponent back? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
