This week on 205 Live, action would start as Oney Lorcan would look to punch someone in the face. That person would be Tehuti Miles, who recently managed to get a win over Lorcan’s tag team partner of Danny Burch, due to a roll up with a pull of the tights. Would the upstart Miles get the beating that is coming to him this week? Was last week a fluke, or would Lorcan fall as well.
Oney Lorcan Came To Kick Some Ass
They would lock up early, with Lorcan being aggressive. Miles would show his usually non-nonchalant manner, before being taken down to the mat by Lorcan and put into a tight head-scissors. He would escape with a kip up, fix his hair and eat a huge chop. He’d be thrown into the ropes, and take a knee to the gut. More chops and uppercuts would of course follow, these being a trademark of Oney Lorcan; each harder than the last.
After being thrown to the ropes, Miles would stop himself and slip outside. He’d be confronted by Burch, who would challenge him to get back into the ring. This distraction would allow for Lorcan to hit another huge knife-edge chop. Miles would be feeling like he a training dummy, until he would counter a charging Lorcan into a flapjack to gain some momentum.
Tehuti Miles Takes Control
After this flapjack, Miles would have control of the match. He’d take him into the corner and stomp him down, scraping his boot across the face of Lorcan. Strikes would keep Lorcan down, and he’d even be choked over the middle rope as Miles fixed his hair once again. Kissing his bicep, he’d drop a series of elbow drops, stopping before the third to showboat.
This was a mistake, as it gave Lorcan a moment to recover. Miles would maintain control, and hit a neck-breaker. A slap to the head and some goading would be a mistake on Miles part, even worse than all the grandstanding. After dropping Lorcan with a back elbow, and picking him up into an arm lock, he’d move into a fujiwara armbar. Lorcan would get up from this, and after being chopped, Lorcan was ready to kill.
Don’t Piss Lorcan Off
Chops at this point only served to piss Lorcan off. He’d chop like his name was Kenta Kobashi, hit a huge running uppercut and let out a primal scream. Drumming up support from the crowd, he’d rush into the corner with a back elbow and look for the Half & Half Suplex, but Miles slipped out and went for a rollup. He’d yank the tights for extra leverage, but Burch ratted him out from ringside. Miles would go to argue with Burch, and Lorcan slipped behind for a rollup pinfall, and got the win.
Yet again, Tehuti Miles proved to be an absolute star of a competitor. He is still young, but is showing great promise. I don’t think he’ll stay on 205 Live long, and I fully expect to see him make a splash like Murphy, Drew Gulak & Humberto Carillo on RAW or Smackdown soon, but until then? I think he’ll be humbled by Burch & Lorcan a few more times. Do you think Tehuti Miles will be a star in WWE? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
