It’s Wednesday night once again, which means it’s time for the Black and Gold brand of NXT to shine bright. A huge triple threat main event, and some exciting undercard action might make this a must see episode. Let’s look at whats announced.
Keith Lee Defends NXT North American Championship Against Johnny Gargano & Finn Balor
WWE is having their own version of the Double Gold Dash right now in NXT. The NXT Champion of Adam Cole was called out by NXT North American Champion Keith Lee. Finn Balor & Johnny Gargano would enter this picture as well, and this has lead to two huge matches being announced. The first happens tonight, when Gargano & Balor will try to unseat the dominant Keith Lee as champion, and go on to face Adam Cole in two weeks. Keith Lee has faced these odds before, but never against two former NXT Champions. It’ll be a fantastic match from three of NXT’s best.
Karrion Kross Will Claim Another Vicitim
Karrion Kross is someone who has also placed himself in the NXT Championship picture, but has been ignored for the moment. Instead, he’s going to be facing the master of Austrailian Strong Style in Bronson Reed. Reed was run down by Kross a few weeks back to set an example ahead of his match with Ciampa, but he didn’t keep him down. This won’t be a long match, but it’ll be a hard hitting one.
Cameron Grimes Faces Damien Priest
Damien Priest has been on fire since NXT Takeover: In Your House, and following a win against Killian Dain, he is looking to continue his winning ways when he faces the loud mouthed Cameron Grimes. This could be a showstealer of a match, even with the huge triple threat. They’re two stars on the rise, and will be in line for a title shot with a win in this one.
There are some other things teased, like Aliyah & Robert Stone getting revenge on Rhea Ripley, and we can assume some action from the 205 Live roster or more on Escobar Santos. WWE stays tight liped on what will come on NXT, but it’s looking like the best episode in weeks. What are you most looking forward too? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
