At NXT Takeover: In Your House, Roderick Strong & Bobby Fish would be kidnapped by Dexter Lumis during the match between Adam Cole & Velveteen Dream. They’d be shoved into the trunk of a car, and taken away. This would mentally scar Strong, but after support from his friends in the Undisputed Era, he’s conquered his fears. He would hop into a trunk to prove he’s cured, and he will now look to take down Dexter Lumis in a match.
Roderick Strong Is Still Shook By Lumis
Even with his buddy Bobby Fish by his side, and having faced the fears that came with the kidnapping, Strong wouldn’t be keen on facing Lumis. But the match was signed, and he’d have to face the tortured artist. Lumis would just stare his opponent down, but the workhorse of the Undisputed Era couldn’t deal with this. A pep talk from Fish would motivate Strong to get back into the ring, but he’d hop right back out.
Lumis would follow him this time, stalking him around the ring. Strong would try to get into the crowd, but bounce off the plexiglass, before fleeing into the crowd. This match would end before contact would be made, as Strong would be counted out. Following this, Lumis would try to choke out Fish with a head and arm choke, but he’d slip away and join Strong in running away.
What Is The Endgame Of Dexter Lumis And Undisputed Era
For months now, Lumis has been terrorizing The Undisputed Era. It has only gotten worse and worse as time has gone on, as shown by the fact that Strong can’t even look at the man. He’s not getting a title shot against Adam Cole, and seems fine just making their lives hell. Maybe if Cole loses his championship in two weeks time, he’ll work on driving them out of NXT. We don’t know if Strong stopped running, he could already be past state lines to get away from Lumis.
