NJPW Lions Break Collision Results: Karl Fredericks & Tom Lawlor vs. The DKC & Misterisoso

This week’s episode of Lions Break Collision starts with some tag team action. We have Karl Fredericks and Clark Connors of the L.A Dojo facing The DKC & Misterioso, with a fifteen minute time limit. The debuting talent here on the show is Misterioso, but we will see what he’s all about when he gets into the match. The DKC faced Rust Taylor last week, and was dismantled, so he’ll be looking for revenge.

Connors & Fredericks Represent L.A Dojo

The match would start between DKC & Karl Fredericks starting this match, with Fredericks wanting to prove he’s above Connors. Some inside leg kicks would start the action before they would lock up, with Fredericks in control. DKC took a cheap shot during an opening, but Fredericks kicked him back down with ease, before tagging Connors into the match.

Connors would keep control on the team of the L.A Dojo with some bodyslams, before DKC would hit a strike and tag in Misterioso, who came in off the top rope with a high crossbody. Some deep armdrags and dropkicks showing his lucha libre influence, before hitting a springboard moonsault to the outside, right onto Connors.

He’d go for another dive off the top rope, with Connors dodging and catching Misterioso with a quick scoop powerslam. Things would break down into strikes, with Connors getting the best one with a huge chop to the back of the neck. Fredericks would tag in and throw his weight around before allowing Connors to come in and grind Misterioso down.

Karl Fredericks Closes This One Out

The veteran luchador would be in trouble as we passed the five minute mark, with Fredericks & Connors showing their tag team chemistry. Finally being able to get some space, he’d hit a big dropkick on Connors and tag in DKC, who would be met by Fredericks. DKC would make the mistake of trading strikes with Fredericks, who showed shades of Shibata.

Eventually he’d get the best of the former young lion briefly, and hit a crucifix bomb for a near fall. DKC tried to take him down, but Fredericks would lock in the rear naked choke before hitting an elevated DDT for the win.

    Jeff Cobb Gets Revenge

Karl Fredericks won this one in just 7 minutes and 39 seconds, showing just how good he is. You need to give a nod to his tag team partner, but Fredericks really is far ahead of his class. Following the match, Cobb would lay out Fredericks after being disrespected two weeks ago.

Can Karl Fredericks beat Jeff Cobb? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
