At The Horror Show: Extreme Rules, Dolph Ziggler will face Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship. The build has had a few hooks, mainly the tag team past the two, having previously held the RAW Tag Team Championships. However, the real mystery comes in the stipulation for the match, which Dolph has kept a secret, saying he won’t reveal it until the day of the show. However, in a Facebook post, WWE might have ruined this surprise.
Dolph Ziggler To Declare The Match As A Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match?
In the Facebook post, an ad for the match would be shown with an array of tables, ladders and chairs in the background. It also leaves little to speculation, saying “WWE Championship Match, Tables, Ladder, and Chairs”. This suits the theme of Extreme Rules, and Dolph has some good ladder match experience going into the match. He previously beat The Miz & Luke Harper in ladder matches, as well as winning the Money In The Bank ladder match in the past.
We could also see the rules of the match indicate that only Dolph can use these weapons, while Drew simply has to rely on his power and wrestling ability to beat him. This would give Dolph an advantage to make this a fair fight.
Wouldn’t Be The First Time WWE Has Spoiled Something
WWE has had some issues with the internet and spoiling their own shows on it. They most recently posted the exact draft order to WWE.com, forgetting to shuffle the names before posting them to their website. This makes it belivable that WWE would accidently post this poster to Facebook.
There is also a chance this is an old poster, as if the stipulation is meant to be a secret, why make promotional material for it? They could have intended for this to be a TLC match, but once the show morphed into “The Horror Show”, they might have picked something more morbid for the show. TLC is extreme, but there are more extreme options available. Atleast no one is likely to lose an eyeball in this one.
