Last week, Dominic Dijakovic was one second away from holding both the NXT North American Championship & NXT Championship when he faced his rival Keith Lee. He’d lose that match, and later he’d be used to send a message to Lee, and the messenger was Karrion Kross. It is very obvious that Kross wants both of Lee’s titles, and he’ll start his path to the title as he faces off with Djiakovic. Now the NXT Championship is all there is to claim. Will Kross be beaten, or will he run through another dominant member of the NXT roster?
Karrion Kross Won’t Make Quick Work Of Another Opponent
Dijakovic is one of the rising stars of NXT, but Kross is the next dominant force. They would lock up early, and the power of Dijakovic wouldn’t make it easy for Kross. These are two legit heavyweights, and they’d have to battle for control. However, Kross would throw the first strike.
A straight kick to the gut would topple Dijakovic over, and Kross would apply a very tight front headlock. He’d be shoved into the corner, but would refuse to break the hold. Dijakovic would slip out and try for Feast Your Eyes. Kross would barely dodge, and go for a Doomsday Saito but Dijakovic would dodge.
One rolling forearm would rock Kross, and send him to the outside. We’ve never seen Kross in this much trouble, and a cyclone boot on the outside would damage him even more. However, we would see Kross take control with a hard DDT, as we go to a commercial break.
Dijakovic Might Take This One
Throughout the break, Kross would maintain control on the mat with a side headlock. Dijakovic would try to tilt him into a pinfall, but never got more than two count. Even when he’d break the hold, he’d be sent right back in. Coming back, Dijakovic would rally back with some strikes as he got back to his feet. However, Doomsday Saito would drop him quickly.
Kross would look for the Kross Jacket, but Dijakovic would fight out and drop him with a huge forearm to gain some ground. Heavy strikes were working, so Dijakovic would focus on them before throwing Kross across the ring like he was a child. He’d hit the sitout chokeslam and get a two count!
Karrion Kross Is A Monster
Dijakovic wouldn’t let his control slip away, as he’d dive over the top onto Kross. It would look like the steel steps would meet Kross, but he’d reverse and send Dijakovic into them. He’d stick Dijakovic behind the steps, and kick them. Kross would get back in the ring, but only to break the count.
He’d drag a lifeless Dijakovic back into the ring, and pummel a defenseless man with forearms. Keith Lee would come to ringside to potentially step in to save his friend, but Dijakovic doesn’t want this. He couldn’t defend himself, and Kross would apply the Kross Jacket, and get the win he had minutes ago, while staring Lee down.
Finally we get a longer showing from Karrion Kross, and a show of just how twisted this man is. It’s clear that at Takeover, it’s Lee vs. Kross. Will Keith Lee’s NXT Championship reign be short? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
